Megalis 20 Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Megalis 20 Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Megalis 20 Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Megalis 20 Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Can using Megalis 20 Tablet affect fertility?
No, Megalis 20 Tablet does not impact fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels, specifically addressing erectile dysfunction without affecting reproductive capabilities.
Should I limit or avoid alcohol consumption while taking Megalis 20 Tablet?
While moderate alcohol intake is unlikely to cause issues, excessive drinking (5 units or more) can increase the risk of headaches, dizziness, increased heart rate, and low blood pressure.
Does Megalis 20 Tablet delay ejaculation?
No, Megalis 20 Tablet does not affect ejaculation. Its primary use is for treating erectile dysfunction without impacting orgasmic function.
When should I stop taking Megalis 20 Tablet and seek medical attention?
Discontinue Megalis 20 Tablet immediately and consult your doctor if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, severe hearing loss, ringing in the ears, persistent dizziness, prolonged erections lasting over 4 hours, or painful erections lasting more than 6 hours.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Megalis 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Megalis 20 Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
- Do not use Megalis 20 Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain) if you have had a heart attack in the past 3 months or stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Megalis 20 Tablet.
Breastfeed

Pregnancy
