Tadact 20 Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Tadact 20 Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Tadact 20 Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.

What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue Tadact 20 Tablet?
If you experience any of the following symptoms, you should consult your doctor immediately: sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden decrease in hearing or hearing loss, ringing in the ears, and dizziness. Additionally, if you experience prolonged erections lasting more than 4 hours or painful erections lasting more than 6 hours, you should contact your doctor for guidance.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tadact 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Tadact 20 Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- Do not use Tadact 20 Tablet if you have had a heart attack in the past 3 months or stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
Alcohol
