Efil 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Efil 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Efil 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Efil 20mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Can Efil 20mg Tablet use impact fertility?
No, using Efil 20mg Tablet does not affect fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels, which helps achieve and maintain an erection, without influencing reproductive capabilities or fertility.
Is it advisable to consume alcohol while taking Efil 20mg Tablet?
Small amounts of alcohol may be tolerable while on Efil 20mg Tablet. However, heavy drinking (5 units or more) can increase the risk of experiencing adverse effects such as headaches, dizziness, increased heart rate, or low blood pressure.

Efil 20mg Tablet does not have a known effect on ejaculation. It is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), helping men achieve and maintain erections as needed.
When should I discontinue taking Efil 20mg Tablet?
Stop using Efil 20mg Tablet immediately if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, a significant decrease or hearing loss, ringing in the ears, or persistent dizziness. Additionally, seek medical attention if you experience prolonged erections lasting more than 4 hours or painful erections exceeding 6 hours.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Efil 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
