Cialis 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Cialis 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Cialis 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Cialis 20mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Does Cialis 20mg Tablet affect fertility?
Cialis 20mg Tablet does not impact fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and has no effect on reproductive health.
Should I avoid alcohol while taking Cialis 20mg Tablet?
While small amounts of alcohol may be tolerated, excessive consumption (5 units or more) can lead to headaches, dizziness, elevated heart rate, and low blood pressure. Please consult your doctor regarding alcohol intake with this medication.
Does Cialis 20mg Tablet delay ejaculation?
Cialis 20mg Tablet does not impact ejaculation. It is prescribed for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
What symptoms require discontinuing Cialis 20mg Tablet use?
You should consult your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following: sudden vision loss (in one or both eyes), sudden hearing loss, ringing in your ears accompanied by dizziness, or prolonged erections exceeding four hours and painful erections exceeding six hours. This is a potential indicator of serious side effects requiring medical attention.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cialis 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Cialis 20mg Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
