Matfil 20 Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Matfil 20 Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH. It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Matfil 20 Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Matfil 20 Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Does Matfil 20 Tablet affect fertility?
Matfil 20 Tablet is not known to affect fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and has no effect on reproductive function.
Do I need to avoid alcohol while taking Matfil 20 Tablet?
Low-to-moderate alcohol consumption may not cause any noticeable discomfort. However, excessive alcohol intake (5 units or more) can lead to headaches, dizziness, increased heart rate, or low blood pressure.
Does Matfil 20 Tablet delay ejaculation?
Matfil 20 Tablet is not known to affect ejaculation. It is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue Matfil 20 Tablet?
You should immediately contact your doctor if you experience sudden vision changes, such as blurred or decreased vision. If you also encounter hearing loss, ringing in your ears, and dizziness, it's essential to seek medical attention. Additionally, consult with your doctor immediately if you experience prolonged erections (greater than 4 hours) or painful erections (greater than 6 hours).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Matfil 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Matfil 20 Tablet.
Breastfeed
