Upwardz 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Upwardz 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Upwardz 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Upwardz 20mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Does Upwardz 20mg Tablet affect fertility?
Upwardz 20mg Tablet is not known to cause any changes to fertility and does not impact male reproductive function. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels, leading to erectile dysfunction.
Do I need to avoid alcohol while taking Upwardz 20mg Tablet?
While small amounts of alcohol may not cause significant discomfort when taken with Upwardz 20mg Tablet, consuming excessive quantities (5 units or more) can potentially increase the likelihood of experiencing headaches, dizziness, changes in heart rate or blood pressure.
Does Upwardz 20mg Tablet delay ejaculation?
Upwardz 20mg Tablet is not known to cause delays in ejaculation. It is used for treating erectile dysfunction, not related to ejaculation duration.
What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue Upwardz 20mg Tablet?
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, a decrease in hearing or complete deafness, ringing in your ears, and dizziness. If you also experience prolonged erections (greater than 4 hours) or painful erections (greater than 6 hours), contact your doctor immediately.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Upwardz 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Upwardz 20mg Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Upwardz 20mg Tablet.
Breastfeed

Pregnancy
Upwardz 20mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
