Tadarrel 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Tadarrel 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Tadarrel 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Tadarrel 20mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Does Tadarrel 20mg Tablet affect fertility?
Tadarrel 20mg Tablet does not impact fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and does not affect reproductive functions.
Should I avoid alcohol when taking Tadarrel 20mg Tablet?
Small amounts of alcohol may be tolerated without significant discomfort. However, excessive consumption (5 units or more) can increase the likelihood of experiencing headaches, dizziness, rapid heart rate, and low blood pressure.
Does Tadarrel 20mg Tablet delay ejaculation?
Tadarrel 20mg Tablet is not associated with delayed ejaculation. It's intended for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
What symptoms should prompt me to discontinue Tadarrel 20mg Tablet?
You should seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of the following: sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden hearing impairment or a decrease in hearing, ringing in the ears, and dizziness. If you experience prolonged erections lasting longer than 4 hours or painful erections lasting longer than 6 hours, also consult your doctor immediately.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tadarrel 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Tadarrel 20mg Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
