Riseup 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Riseup 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Riseup 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Riseup 20mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Does Riseup 20mg Tablet affect fertility?
Riseup 20mg Tablet does not affect fertility. It works by relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and has no effect on fertility.
Do I need to avoid alcohol while taking Riseup 20mg Tablet?
While moderate alcohol intake may not cause significant discomfort, consuming excessive amounts (5 units or more) can lead to increased headache risk, dizziness, rapid heart rate, and low blood pressure.
Does Riseup 20mg Tablet delay ejaculation?
No, Riseup 20mg Tablet is not associated with delayed ejaculation. It is prescribed to treat erectile dysfunction.
What are the symptoms that should prompt me to discontinue Riseup 20mg Tablet?
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, a significant decrease in hearing, sudden onset of hearing loss, ringing in the ears, and dizziness. Additionally, contact your healthcare provider if you encounter prolonged erections lasting longer than 4 hours or painful erections exceeding 6 hours.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Riseup 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Riseup 20mg Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
- Do not use Riseup 20mg Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain) if you have had a heart attack in the past 3 months or stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months.
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Riseup 20mg Tablet.
Breastfeed

Pregnancy
