Getgo 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Getgo 20mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Getgo 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Getgo 20mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
How might Getgo 20mg Tablet affect fertility?
Using Getgo 20mg Tablet does not impact fertility. Its mechanism involves relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels, without affecting reproductive health.
What is the recommended approach to alcohol consumption while taking Getgo 20mg Tablet?
Limited alcohol intake (less than 5 units) should not cause discomfort; however, excessive drinking may lead to side effects such as headaches, dizziness, increased heart rate, or low blood pressure.
Does Getgo 20mg Tablet influence ejaculation timing?
Getgo 20mg Tablet does not affect the duration of ejaculation. It is specifically used for treating erectile dysfunction.
When should I stop taking Getgo 20mg Tablet and consult my doctor?
Discontinue use if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, hearing problems (sudden decrease or complete loss), ringing in your ears, dizziness, prolonged erections lasting over 4 hours, or painful erections lasting more than 6 hours.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Getgo 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
