Logiliv Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat loss of appetite. It is an effective appetite stimulant. Logiliv Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Logiliv Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Cyproheptadine, tricholine citrate and sorbitol which revives appetite. Cyproheptadine is an appetite-stimulant. It works by reducing the effect of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the hypothalamus a part of the brain which regulates appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent which removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol as a result of which cholesterol level is lowered. Sorbitol acts as a syrup base and also as an osmotic laxative to relieve constipation.
What potential oral side effect may be experienced with Logiliv Syrup?
Dry mouth may occur with the use of Logiliv Syrup. To alleviate this, drink plenty of water throughout the day, take regular sips, and keep some water nearby at night. Additionally, using lip balm can help if your lips also feel dry.
Can Logiliv Syrup usage lead to dizziness?
