3 Tone TC Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat loss of appetite. It is an effective appetite stimulant. 3 Tone TC Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. 3 Tone TC Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Cyproheptadine, tricholine citrate and sorbitol which revives appetite. Cyproheptadine is an appetite-stimulant. It works by reducing the effect of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the hypothalamus a part of the brain which regulates appetite. Tricholine citrate is a bile acid binding agent which removes bile acids from the body. The liver then produces more bile acids using cholesterol as a result of which cholesterol level is lowered. Sorbitol acts as a syrup base and also as an osmotic laxative to relieve constipation.
Can the use of 3 Tone TC Syrup cause dryness in mouth?
Yes, using 3 Tone TC Syrup may lead to dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, it is important to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day and keep a glass of water by your bed at night. You can also use lip balm to alleviate any dryness in your lips.
Can the use of 3 Tone TC Syrup cause dizziness?
Yes, some patients using 3 Tone TC Syrup may experience dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded). If you experience dizziness, rest for a while and resume only when feeling better. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you feel fully recovered.
\What is the recommended storage condition for 3 Tone TC Syrup?
Store 3 Tone TC Syrup in its original container, tightly closed, as instructed on the product label. Do not consume any leftover medicine and ensure it is inaccessible to pets, children, and other people.
