Ofbeta 100mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in children. Ofbeta 100mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of bacterial infections targeting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and urinary tract. It is also part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen.
Ofbeta 100mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading.
Complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.
- Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Ofbeta 100mg Oral Suspension
- Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect
- Discontinue Ofbeta 100mg Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing
- Only give Ofbeta 100mg Oral Suspension to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses
