Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in children. Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly given to children for the treatment of bacterial infections targeting the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and urinary tract. It is also part of the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) treatment regimen.
Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA, killing the infection-causing bacteria and preventing the infection from spreading.
What if I give too much of Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension by mistake?
An extra dose of Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension is unlikely to cause harm. However, if you think you have given too much to your child, immediately consult a doctor. Overdose may lead to unwanted side effects such as seizures, tremors, severe headache, sudden weakness, unconsciousness, and palpitations (irregularities of heartbeat). If you notice any of these symptoms, rush to your child's doctor for immediate attention.
What should I do if my child shows no improvement even after taking Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension for the prescribed duration?
If your child does not show improvement after taking Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension for the prescribed duration, it may indicate that the medicine is not effective against the infection-causing bacteria. In this case, consult your child's doctor, who may prescribe a different antibiotic that is more specific in action. Not all medicines are given orally, and some may need to be administered intravenously in a hospital setting.
Can other medicines be given at the same time as Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension?
Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension can sometimes interact with other medicines or substances. Inform your doctor about any other medicines your child is taking before starting Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension. Additionally, consult with your child's doctor before giving any medicine to your child.
Can I get my child vaccinated while on treatment with Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension?
Antibiotics usually do not interfere with vaccine ingredients or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not receive vaccinations until they have recovered from their illness. Once your child feels better, the vaccine can be administered.
What should I tell the doctor before giving Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension to my child?
Inform your child's doctor if your child has a pre-existing condition such as heart disease, genetic disorders involving blood vessels, seizures, psychiatric disorders, diabetes, photoallergy (allergy from sunlight), neuromuscular disorders, or rheumatoid arthritis. This is because Oflox 100 Rediuse Oral Suspension may exacerbate these conditions and lead to complications.
Complete the entire course of antibiotics to avoid the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection.
