Duflox 100mg Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine commonly prescribed to children for treating various bacterial infections. It targets infections in the eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and urinary tract. Additionally, it is part of the treatment regimen for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB). It is crucial to complete the entire course of antibiotics to prevent bacteria from multiplying again, becoming resistant, or causing another infection. Side effects may include rash, itchy skin, swelling of the face and mouth, or difficulty in breathing. Immediate medical attention is required if these occur.

- Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection.
- Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Duflox 100mg Oral Suspension as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
- Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect.
- Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions.
- Discontinue Duflox 100mg Oral Suspension and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing.
- Only give Duflox 100mg Oral Suspension to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses.
