Levmon LC Oral Suspension is a medication used to treat symptoms of allergy, asthma, and skin allergies in children. Levmon LC Oral Suspension is commonly prescribed in children to treat symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, swelling, congestion, and watery eyes. It may also help in the treatment of asthma and skin allergies.
Levmon LC Oral Suspension contains Levocetirizine and Montelukast. Together these two relieve sneezing and runny nose caused due to allergies. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic that blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist that works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene). This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves symptoms.
Can I give my child cough and allergy medication together, as they both have similar symptoms?
No. Do not mix cough and allergy medicines because the active ingredients are often similar. This may lead to double dosing and potentially dangerous side effects.
Can I reduce the dosage of Levmon LC Oral Suspension myself if my child starts feeling better?
No, adhere strictly to the dose prescribed by your child's doctor. Do not increase or decrease the dosage without consulting a medical professional, as this could significantly affect their health and treatment.
How should Levmon LC Oral Suspension be stored?
Levmon LC Oral Suspension should be stored at room temperature away from direct heat and light. Also, keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children to prevent accidental ingestion.

Does Levmon LC Oral Suspension cause mood disorders in children?
