It relieves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. Zeofex MF 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Zeofex MF 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Montelukast, Fexofenadine and Acebrophylline. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose and improves symptoms of allergies. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which relieves symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out.
What should be avoided while taking Zeofex MF 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR?
Do not take it with any fruit juices (such as apple, orange, or grapefruit) as they may reduce its effectiveness. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Zeofex MF 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR. Drinking alcohol can worsen drowsiness or sleepiness caused by Zeofex MF 10mg/120mg/200mg Tablet SR.
