Theolate TX 250mg/250mg Tablet is a combination medicine used to manage heavy menstrual bleeding. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots and enhancing the ability of platelets to stick together, thereby controlling excessive bleeding. The most common side effects include nausea, stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness, and musculoskeletal pain. It may also cause diarrhea, so it is advisable to stay hydrated. Consult your doctor if there is no improvement in your bleeding after using this medicine for three consecutive periods. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice before taking this medication.
Theolate TX 250mg/250mg Tablet is a combination of Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate. Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic that prevents the breakdown of blood clots and controls excessive bleeding. Ethamsylate is a hemostatic that increases the ability of platelets to stick together and form blood clots, helping control bleeding from tiny blood vessels (capillaries).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Theolate TX 250mg/250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
