Tadabone 10mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Tadabone 10mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Tadabone 10mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Tadabone 10mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Can Tadabone 10mg Tablet impact fertility?
No, using Tadabone 10mg Tablet does not affect fertility. Its mechanism of action involves relaxing the muscles of penile blood vessels and has no influence on fertility.
Is it necessary to avoid alcohol when taking Tadabone 10mg Tablet?
While moderate alcohol consumption is unlikely to cause discomfort, excessive drinking (5 units or more) can increase your risk of experiencing headaches, dizziness, increased heart rate, or low blood pressure.
Does Tadabone 10mg Tablet delay ejaculation?
No, Tadabone 10mg Tablet does not affect ejaculation. It is specifically used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
What symptoms necessitate discontinuation of Tadabone 10mg Tablet?
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden hearing decrease or hearing loss, ringing in your ears, and dizziness. Additionally, consult your doctor if you experience prolonged erections lasting more than 4 hours or painful erections persisting over 6 hours.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tadabone 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- Do not use Tadabone 10mg Tablet if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain).
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.
