Meganite 10mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Meganite 10mg Tablet is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It increases blood flow to the penis to help men get an erection. In PAH, it relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Meganite 10mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works in erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis by relaxing the muscles in penile blood vessels. Meganite 10mg Tablet also relaxes or widens the blood vessels inside the lungs. When the blood vessels relax and widen, it's easier for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, which reduces blood pressure in the lungs.
Does Meganite 10mg Tablet affect fertility?
Meganite 10mg Tablet does not affect fertility. It is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and has no impact on reproductive functions.
Should I avoid alcohol while taking Meganite 10mg Tablet?
Moderate alcohol consumption (up to 5 units) may not significantly affect you. However, excessive alcohol intake (5 units or more) may increase the risk of headaches, dizziness, increased heart rate, and low blood pressure.
Does Meganite 10mg Tablet delay ejaculation?
Meganite 10mg Tablet is not known to cause delayed ejaculation. It primarily addresses erectile dysfunction by relaxing penile blood vessels.
What symptoms necessitate discontinuation of Meganite 10mg Tablet?
If you experience sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, a sharp decrease in hearing, persistent ringing in your ears, and dizziness, seek immediate medical attention. Additionally, if you encounter prolonged erections exceeding 4 hours or painful erections lasting longer than 6 hours, contact your doctor immediately.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Meganite 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- It is best to take it an hour before sexual intercourse. But you can take it anytime between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
- Do not take it more than once a day.
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol as it can reduce your ability to get an erection and can make dizziness worse.
- Seek medical attention if the erection persists for more than 4 hours after sexual intercourse.

Breastfeed
