Sutent 12.5mg Capsule is a medicine used in the treatment of kidney cancer and gastrointestinal stromal tumor. Sutent 12.5mg Capsule can be taken with or without food, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefits. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.
Sutent 12.5mg Capsule is an anti-cancer medication. It works by binding and blocking certain cell surface protein (tyrosine kinase) responsible for the propagation of cancer growth. It also restricts the growth of new blood vessels within the tumor. This is how it prevents the proliferation of malignant cancers.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Sutent 12.5mg Capsule may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Alcohol
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Sutent 12.5mg Capsule. Please consult your doctor.
Breastfeed
Sutent 12.5mg Capsule is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
