Statpure-F 10 Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, reducing the risk of heart disease. Statpure-F 10 Tablet is a combination of two lipids (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Statpure-F 10 Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Fenofibrate and Rosuvastatin. Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood while Rosuvastatin prevents your body from making 'bad' cholesterol (LDL). Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).
Can the use of Statpure-F 10 Tablet cause liver damage?
Statpure-F 10 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate. Rare (1 in 10,000 patients) side effects may include liver damage. Patients with pre-existing liver disease should avoid taking this medicine. If you experience early symptoms such as fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes, or abnormal liver enzymes, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
