Can I drink caffeinated drinks like tea or coffee while taking Skitofine 500 Tablet?
Caffeinated drinks should be taken with caution while being on treatment with Skitofine 500 Tablet. Skitofine 500 Tablet decreases the rate of metabolism of caffeine by 19% which may lead to side effects such as jitteriness, headache, increased heartbeat, and restlessness.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Skitofine 500 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Inform your doctor if you notice yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, or stomach pain.
