Rebolt 2500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. It also helps to treat anemia, fatigue, and numbness or tingling in the hands and feet.

What is Rebolt 2500mcg Injection?
Rebolt 2500mcg Injection is a form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is an essential nutrient that is required by the body to make red blood cells and maintain a healthy nervous system. It is also important for releasing energy from food and using vitamin B11 (folic acid).
Why can’t I get sufficient vitamin B12 in my diet?
You can obtain vitamin B12 from sources like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. While individuals who are vegetarian or vegan may not receive Vitamin B12 because it is not naturally found in foods such as fruits, vegetables, and grains. Therefore, deficiency of vitamin B12 is usually observed in vegetarians or vegans.
What happens if I have vitamin B12 deficiency?
Vitamin B12 deficiency may lead to fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, weight loss, and megaloblastic anemia (a condition where red blood cells become larger than normal). Rebolt 2500mcg Injection is generally well-tolerated and considered safe. However, rare side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, or rash may occur in some individuals. If a rash appears, discontinue taking this medication immediately.
How should Rebolt 2500mcg Injection be given?
Rebolt 2500mcg Injection can be administered directly into a vein (intravenously) or muscle (intramuscularly). The usual dose is 1 ampoule (0.5 mg of Rebolt 2500mcg Injection), and it is administered three times a week. After two months, the dose is changed to once every one to three months for maintenance therapy.
What precautions need to be taken while administering Rebolt 2500mcg Injection?
Avoid injecting the medication at the same site repeatedly. If you experience intense pain while injecting or if blood flows back into the syringe, remove the needle and re-insert at a different site.
