Proxaid Gel is a prescription medicine used to treat acne by removing the dead layer of the skin, stopping the growth of bacteria, and preventing accumulation of sebum. Proxaid Gel is a combination of two medicines: Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, which treats acne (pimples). It is used to remove the dead layer of the skin, stop the growth of bacteria, and prevent accumulation of sebum. It is also used to unblock the pores and allow natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin.
Proxaid Gel is a combination of two medicines: Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, which treats acne (pimples). Adapalene is a form of vitamin A and Benzoyl Peroxide is a keratolytic medicine. Together, they prevent accumulation of the sebum (skin's natural oil), unblock the pores, and allow natural exfoliation of the outer layers of skin. Benzoyl Peroxide additionally penetrates into the skin and kills acne-causing bacteria.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.
