Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) by relieving the symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) by relieving the symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. It also neutralizes the acid and promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.
Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levosulpiride and Pantoprazole.
What is the best time to take Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet?
Take Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor. The recommended dosage is one capsule on an empty stomach daily.
What are the contraindications associated with the use of Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet?
Patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine should not use Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet.
Can the use of Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet cause dizziness?
Yes, some patients taking Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet may experience dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded). If you experience dizziness or lightheadedness, it is best to rest and resume your activities once you feel better.
Does the use of Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet lead to increased risk of fractures?
Studies have suggested that Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet may increase the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures of the hip, wrist or spine. This risk was higher in patients who received high doses and continued treatment for an extended period (more than a year). High dose can be defined as multiple daily doses.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
- Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea or stomach pain that does not go away.
- Do not consume alcohol while taking Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet as it can increase the risk of stomach damage.
- Long-term use may cause weak or broken bones. Take adequate intake of dietary calcium and vitamin D or their supplements. Do not take Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet for longer than prescribed.
Alcohol
Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Breastfeed
Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.
Pregnancy
Panlife LS 75mg/40mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.
