The common side effects of this medicine include peeling of the skin, thinning of the skin, burning, itching, irritation, and redness at the application site. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or are suffering from any other disease. This medicine is safe to use in breastfeeding mothers.
Moresalic F Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid, which treats eczema and psoriasis. Clobetasol is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.
How to use Moresalic F Lotion?
Apply Moresalic F Lotion thinly to the affected skin areas. Use enough of the medication to cover them completely. Apply it two or three times a day, as recommended by your doctor. Wash your hands after using Moresalic F Lotion unless it is used for treating skin infection on your hands.
Can I stop using Moresalic F Lotion when my symptoms are relieved?
No, do not stop using Moresalic F Lotion and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the disease is completely treated.
What are the precautions that need to be taken while using Moresalic F Lotion?
Do not use Moresalic F Lotion on your face. Do not use this medication for longer than the recommended periods of time. Avoid covering the treated areas with bandages or dressings, as this can increase absorption and potentially lead to side effects. This medicine should only be used by the patient and never given to others, even if their condition appears similar.
Will Moresalic F Lotion be more effective if taken more than prescribed?
No, using Moresalic F Lotion beyond the prescribed dosage will not increase its effectiveness. Overusing medication can cause an excessive amount to enter your body. This could result in skin thinning or weakening and other serious side effects. If you are experiencing worsening symptoms, please consult with your doctor for a reevaluation.
