Topisal 3% Lotion is a combination of medicines used to treat eczema and psoriasis, providing relief from redness, itching, and swelling, and removing dead skin cells and softening the skin. Topisal 3% Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid. Clobetasol is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.
How to use Topisal 3% Lotion?
Apply Topisal 3% Lotion thinly and in sufficient quantity to cover affected skin areas. Use two or three times a day as directed by your doctor or the product instructions. Wash hands thoroughly after using, except when treating skin infection on the hands.
Can I stop using Topisal 3% Lotion when my symptoms are relieved?
