Lumikos Plus 80mg/480mg Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Artemether and Lumefantrine which treats malaria. These medicines work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading.

To take Lumikos Plus 80mg/480mg Tablet, follow these steps: Take one tablet with food exactly as prescribed by your doctor. This medicine is usually taken twice a day with a meal for 3 days. On the first day of treatment, take one dose with food in the morning followed by another dose 8 hours later. For the next two days, take one dose in the morning and one dose in the evening. Resume normal eating as soon as possible to improve medicine absorption.
