How it works

Febrikast LC 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, Levocetirizine, and Montelukast. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus making it easier to cough out. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist which works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger, reducing inflammation in the airways and nose and improving your symptoms.

Direction of use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Febrikast LC 75mg/5mg/10mg Tablet SR may be taken with or without food but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Tips

• Take it at the same time each day
• preferably in the evening after food
• Do not take it with any fruit juices (such as apple, orange, or grapefruit) as they might make the drug less effective
