Clomic S Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Clobetasol and Salicylic Acid. Clobetasol is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.
How to use Clomic S Lotion?
Apply Clomic S Lotion to the affected areas thinly and in sufficient quantity. Follow the directions provided by your healthcare provider or refer to the product label for usage instructions. Generally, the medication should be applied two or three times a day on the affected areas of skin. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying Clomic S Lotion unless it is used to treat an infection in the hand.
