Celfi-O Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections in children and adolescents. Celfi-O Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections that may affect your child's eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, bone and joints, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It can also be used in treating typhoid fever in children and adolescents.
Celfi-O Dry Syrup contains two antibiotics. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) while ofloxacin directly interacts with the genetic material of bacteria. As a consequence, the infection-causing bacteria stop growing further and the spread of the infection is successfully arrested.
What if I give too much of Celfi-O Dry Syrup by mistake?
Giving an extra dose of Celfi-O Dry Syrup is unlikely to cause harm. However, you should be vigilant because large doses may lead to unwanted side effects and may even worsen your child’s condition.
