Ceflive O Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections in children and adolescents. Ceflive O Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine that treats bacterial infections that may affect your child's eyes, ears, nose, throat, lungs, skin, bone and joints, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It can also be used in treating typhoid fever in children and adolescents.
Ceflive O Dry Syrup contains two antibiotics. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) while ofloxacin directly interacts with the genetic material of bacteria. As a consequence, the infection-causing bacteria stop growing further and the spread of the infection is successfully arrested.
What if I give too much of Ceflive O Dry Syrup by mistake?
Giving an extra dose of Ceflive O Dry Syrup is unlikely to be harmful. However, you must remain vigilant as overdosing may cause unwanted side effects and could even worsen your child's condition. If you believe you have given too much of Ceflive O Dry Syrup, consult a doctor immediately.

Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Ceflive O Dry Syrup as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
