Areban Oral Suspension is an anti-worm medicine used to treat roundworm and tapeworm infections in children. Areban Oral Suspension is an anti-worm medicine given to treat a multitude of parasitic worm infestations such as roundworm and tapeworm infections in children. It works by paralyzing and restraining the worms from absorbing the body's energy, leading to their eventual death.
Areban Oral Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die, thereby treating your child's infection effectively.

Symptoms of worms in children may include: itchy anal area, difficulty sitting down, fatigue, restless sleep due to anal itching, and persistent stomach pain along with loss of appetite or frequent indigestion. Another sign might be pica, where your child eats inedible substances like dirt. If you notice any of these signs, consult your child's doctor immediately. After returning home after playing, encourage your child to wash their hands thoroughly with soap and water. Transmission can also occur through drinking contaminated water or eating vegetables or fruits without washing or peeling them.
