Alkem Ors Powder is a WHO-based ORS formula that restores body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration in diarrhoea, vomiting, muscle cramping, and exertional heat illness. Alkem Ors Powder is a combination of dextrose and essential electrolytes (sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, sodium citrate) that helps restore body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration. It is used to treat diarrhoea, vomiting, muscle cramping, and exertional heat illness. The powder should be mixed with the right amount of water to avoid worsening the condition.
Alkem Ors Powder helps restore body fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration by providing essential electrolytes and instant energy.
Dissolve the contents of the packet in 1 litre of drinking water, boil the water for at least 10 minutes if it's not safe to drink, and then let it cool. Stir well and give to the child to drink in a cup or spoon feed.
