Acemed DM 30mg/40mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. It helps treat the conditions by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach thereby relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation.
Acemed DM 30mg/40mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
What is Acemed DM 30mg/40mg Tablet?
Acemed DM 30mg/40mg Tablet is a combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole. This combination is used to treat acidity, heartburn or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD); a condition where the acid in the stomach flows back up into the food pipe (esophagus). It's also used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers. On the other hand, Domperidone helps control vomiting. It increases the movement of the stomach and intestines which allows for easier passage of food through the stomach.

- Take Acemed DM 30mg/40mg Tablet one hour before the meal

- Long-term use of Acemed DM 30mg/40mg Tablet can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor
- Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity and heartburn: Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water, Avoid spicy and fatty fried food, Lose weight if you are obese, If you are a smoker consider giving up, Don't drink too much alcohol, Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal.
