How it works

The test kit uses the principle of immuno-chromatography to detect malaria antigens in the blood. The test strip is coated with monoclonal anti-pLDH antibodies specific to the lactate dehydrogenase of P.vivax species and monoclonal anti-HRP-II antibodies specific to the Histidine Rich Protein-II of P.falciparum. The test sample flows through the membrane assembly of the device, and the malaria antigens get immobilized on the respective test lines, forming a red/purple colored band.

Direction of use

To use the test kit, disinfect the device with an alcohol swab, puncture the blood sample using a lancet, and collect blood up to the marking on the sample dropper. Follow the instructions provided with the kit for further testing.
