The most common side effects of this medicine include rash; pruritus; eosinophilia; gastrointestinal distress (diarrhea, nausea); and increased alanine transaminase, aspartate transaminase, and alkaline phosphatase. These side effects are usually temporary and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine. However, consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Tips

• Inform your doctor if you have a history of epilepsy and are on medications like sodium valproate because Zustpen 300mg Injection may reduce the levels of valproic acid and also result in the recurrence of epileptic seizures.
• Let your doctor know if you have severe kidney disease before starting the treatment with Zustpen 300mg Injection.
• Along with taking this medicine, maintain personal hygiene and drink an adequate amount of water.
