Zocpan-DSR Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux), dyspepsia (indigestion), and gastritis. Zocpan-DSR Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux), dyspepsia (indigestion), and gastritis. It helps treat the conditions by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach thereby relieving symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation.
Zocpan-DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Pantoprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
What is Zocpan-DSR Capsule?
Zocpan-DSR Capsule contains two active ingredients, Domperidone and Pantoprazole. This combination is used to treat acidity, heartburn, or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), a condition where stomach acid flows back up into the esophagus. It is also used to treat gastric and duodenal ulcers. Domperidone helps control vomiting by increasing movement of the stomach and intestines which facilitates food passage.
Is Zocpan-DSR Capsule safe to use?

- Take Zocpan-DSR Capsule one hour before the meal
- preferably in the morning
- Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever or stomach pain that does not go away
- Inform your doctor if you do not feel better after taking Zocpan-DSR Capsule for 14 days as you may be suffering from some other problem that needs attention
- Long-term use of Zocpan-DSR Capsule can cause weak bones and a deficiency of minerals such as magnesium. Take adequate dietary intake of calcium and magnesium or their supplements as prescribed by your doctor
- Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity and heartburn: Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water, Avoid spicy and fatty fried food, Lose weight if you are obese, If you are a smoker consider giving up, Don't drink too much alcohol, Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion
