Contact your doctor immediately if you experience yellowing of the skin or eyes, darkening of urine, or severe nausea and vomiting. These could be signs of potential liver problems.
How often should I have liver investigations done?
Prior to starting treatment, measure liver enzymes before treatment begins. Monitor liver function every two weeks during the first three months and then monthly thereafter. If you develop any symptoms such as jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), dark urine, or severe nausea or vomiting, these could be signs of liver problems and should be reported immediately. If liver enzyme levels increase beyond certain limits, your doctor may temporarily stop Zelgor 250mg Tablet.
How do I take Zelgor 250mg Tablet?
Take Zelgor 250mg Tablet on an empty stomach with water, at least one hour before eating or at least two hours after eating. Taking it with food might lead to increased and variable blood levels of the medication which can be harmful.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zelgor 250mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
