How it works

Zanocin 100 Liquid is an antibiotic that interferes with the genetic material of bacteria by implanting defects in its DNA, killing the infection-causing bacteria from growing further and preventing the infection from spreading without making them resistant to further treatment.

Direction of use

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again or cause another infection.

Tips

• Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Zanocin 100 Liquid as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.
• Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect.
• Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions.
• Discontinue Zanocin 100 Liquid and inform the doctor immediately if your child develops a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or has difficulty in breathing.
• Only give Zanocin 100 Liquid to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses.
