Vometil 5mg Tablet MD is used to treat vertigo, nausea, vomiting, and migraine caused by various conditions, as well as non-psychotic anxiety. Vometil 5mg Tablet MD is used in the treatment of vertigo (dizziness) due to ear problems (Meniere’s syndrome and other labyrinthine disorders), nausea, vomiting, and migraine caused by various conditions. Additionally, it can be used as a short-term treatment for non-psychotic anxiety.
Vometil 5mg Tablet MD is a vestibular suppressant that blocks the H1 receptor and stops vertigo. It also acts as a dopamine antagonist, blocking the action of dopamine and showing an anti-nauseating and antiemetic action.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Vometil 5mg Tablet MD is to be taken with food.
- Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down
- Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Vometil 5mg Tablet MD
- Drink plenty of fluids to prevent heatstroke
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight
- It may cause sleepiness, so avoid driving or concentrating until you know how it affects you
Alcohol
Vometil 5mg Tablet MD may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Breastfeed
Vometil 5mg Tablet MD should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
