Vissco 5710 Anti-Embolism Stockings - Thigh (Open Toe) are designed to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in bedridden patients, ICU patients, and those with leg pain and discomfort. These anti-embolism stockings provide graduated compression from the ankle to the knee, improving blood flow and preventing deep vein thrombosis. They are designed to relieve ankle discomfort, varicose pain, and improve comfort and stability.
The graduated compression from the ankle to the knee helps to improve blood flow and prevent deep vein thrombosis.
To put on the stocking, use the applicator provided in the box to slide the stocking up towards the knee. Hold the heel portion in your palm and reverse the stocking outward. Slide the inverted stocking onto your foot, making sure the heel fits perfectly, and slowly pull it up without creases.
