Veik Oral Suspension is an anti-worm medicine used to treat parasitic worm infestations such as roundworm and tapeworm infections in children. Veik Oral Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. It works by paralyzing and restraining the worms from absorbing the body's energy, leading to their eventual death. Give Veik Oral Suspension to your child by mouth, preferably with a fat-containing food such as milk. In case your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking Veik Oral Suspension, give the same dose again. Do not double the dose if it is time for the next dose. The duration of the treatment will depend on the type of worm your child is infected with.
Veik Oral Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die, thereby treating your child's infection effectively.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Veik Oral Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.
