Uticept Tablet is used to treat and prevent muscle spasms of the urinary tract, relaxing the muscles to relieve symptoms like painful urination, excessive urination at night, and the inability to control urine flow. Uticept Tablet is best taken with food to prevent an upset stomach. Swallow the medicine as a whole without crushing or chewing it. You should not stop taking the medicine without consulting the doctor as it may lead to the worsening of your symptoms. Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, fever, sweating, palpitations, and nervousness. The side effects may be avoided by drinking plenty of water. It may also make you feel dizzy or sleepy, so it advised not to drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. If any of the side effects bother you or persist, consult the doctor without delay.
Uticept Tablet is anti-spasmodic. It works by relaxing muscles of the urinary bladder and prevents frequent, urgent or uncontrolled urination and relieves associated pain.

Uticept Tablet is not an antibiotic, nor is it narcotic. It belongs to a group of medications that are anti-spasmodic and help relieve and prevent muscle spasms.
What is Uticept Tablet?
Uticept Tablet is used to treat muscle spasms in the urinary tract, which can be caused by bladder inflammation, prostate gland inflammation or urethra inflammation. It may also be used for relief of symptoms related to surgeries, cystoscopy or catheterization such as painful urination, excessive nighttime urination and difficulty with urine flow control. Uticept Tablet works by relaxing the muscles of your bladder and increasing the volume your bladder can hold. This helps reduce the frequency of unexpected urination.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Uticept Tablet is to be taken with food.
Alcohol
Uticept Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
