Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Utiact 100mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
- Treats and prevents uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
- Finish the prescribed course of the medicine even if you start to feel better.
- Take it with food to avoid nausea which is a common side effect.
- It can turn your urine a dark yellow or brown colour. This is normal and nothing to worry about.

Alcohol
Consuming alcohol while taking Utiact 100mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Breastfeed
Utiact 100mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Pregnancy
Utiact 100mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
