How it works

Uficef OF Kid 100mg/100mg Tablet DT contains two antibiotics. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) while ofloxacin directly interacts with the genetic material of bacteria. As a consequence, the infection-causing bacteria stop growing further and the spread of the infection is successfully arrested.

Direction of use

Give this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Uficef OF Kid 100mg/100mg Tablet DT as these can affect the absorption of the medicine.

Tips

• Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again
