Ubomentin-LB Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection. Ubomentin-LB Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Ubomentin-LB Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Amoxycillin, Clavulanic Acid and Lactobacillus. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. This treats your infection but may upset your digestive system by killing healthy gut bacteria as well. Lactobacillus is added to restore the balance of healthy bacteria.

Ubomentin-LB Tablet carries a risk for patients with a history of allergic reactions to any penicillin. It is also avoided in individuals who have experienced cholestatic jaundice or liver dysfunction related to previous use of the medication.
Which is the best time to take Ubomentin-LB Tablet?
Ubomentin-LB Tablet can be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the prescribed dosage by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal or snack to minimize the potential for stomach upset. Some antibiotics can cause diarrhea. If diarrhea is severe or lasts longer than 2 or 3 days, contact your doctor.
