Tysabri 300mg Injection is used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS) and may be used to treat other conditions as determined by the doctor. Tysabri 300mg Injection stops the cells that cause inflammation from going into your brain, reducing nerve damage caused by MS. This medicine often causes nausea and vomiting, but it is important to continue taking it even if you begin to feel ill. Do not stop taking this medicine without first checking with your doctor. Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms like abdominal pain, loss of appetite, darkened urine or yellowing of the eyes or skin, which may be signs of liver damage.
Certain immune cells (T cells) are known to attack the protective sheath (myelin) around the nerves and cause disabling effects in multiple sclerosis. Tysabri 300mg Injection works by binding to T cells and preventing their entry into the brain and spinal cord. This slows disease progression and reduces the number of attacks in multiple sclerosis.
Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self-administer.
