Turbovas-F Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines used to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, reducing the risk of heart disease. Turbovas-F Tablet is a combination of two lipids (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Turbovas-F Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Fenofibrate and Rosuvastatin. Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood while Rosuvastatin prevents your body from making 'bad' cholesterol (LDL). Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).
Can Turbovas-F Tablet cause liver damage?
Turbovas-F Tablet contains Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate. While rare (1 in 10,000 patients), liver damage has been reported as a side effect. Patients with pre-existing liver conditions should avoid using this medication. If you experience symptoms like fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, jaundice or yellowing of the eyes or abnormal liver enzyme levels, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
Can Turbovas-F Tablet cause muscle pain?
Muscle pain can occur as a side effect due to muscular injury. This is not experienced by everyone and it's important to speak with your doctor about any persistent or severe muscle pain you experience.

- Do not discontinue Turbovas-F Tablet without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
- Avoid alcohol consumption (includes wine, beer, and liquor).
Alcohol
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Turbovas-F Tablet.
Breastfeed
Turbovas-F Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.
Pregnancy
Turbovas-F Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
