Topderm Cream is a combination of three medicines that effectively treats skin infections, minimizing symptoms of inflammation and killing infection-causing microorganisms. The affected area should be clean and dry before application of the medicine. You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course even when you feel better. If you stop using this medicine too early, the fungus may continue to grow and the infection may return or worsen.

How it works

Topderm Cream is a combination of three medicines: Fluocinolone acetonide, Miconazole, and Neomycin. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Neomycin is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth on skin. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.

Direction of use

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying unless hands are the affected area.

Tips

• Apply a thin layer on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor
• Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor
• Avoid getting it in the eyes, mouth, or nose
• Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor
• Inform your doctor if the treated skin area does not improve after 2-4 weeks of treatment
